How to Fake Tan your Face - Step By Step
Gather round Soho Tanning Clubbers!
Today’s top tanning tips are all about achieving the perfect self-tan for your visage!
You know the score with prepping and priming by now, but this step is soooo important to get an even, natural looking tan.
So here we go. Ever wondered why a tan on your face always seems to fade away more quickly than the rest of your body?
Well fun fact, the skin cells on our face tend to shed more frequently than on any other area of the body.
The key to a longer-lasting tan here, isn’t just in the prepping. It’s important to use a hydrating formulation to stop the skin from drying out.
Soho Step 1.
- 24 hours before tanning. Use an exfoliator developed for use on the face. These are typically gentler on the skin than those for use on the body.
Soho Step 2.
- Before you apply any self-tan, wash your face with water. This helps to close the pores which if they are enlarged can draw product unevenly into the skin giving patchy results.
Soho Step 3
- The beauty of our Soho Tanning Club Tropical Spritz Tanning Water is its super hydrating ingredients. So if you plan to use this product you can skip any moisturiser or oil on your face before you apply. Perfect if you’re in a hurry!
- Hold the bottle 20cm away from your face and spray a few spritzes (avoiding the eye area). Smooth the spray into the skin using our super soft tanning mitt.
Soho Step 4
- Sit back and let the luscious melon scent bring back memories of sunny beaches and happy holidays, while this clever little product does its stuff.
- The Soho Tanning Club secret ingredient here? Hyaluronic Acid which helps to keep your face beautifully hydrated and has anti-ageing properties to boot! What’s not to love?
- Wash off up to 4-8 hours later and enjoy that golden glow.
- And, just when you thought this little belter of a product couldn’t get any better…it’s transfer free so no worries of it staining clothes or bedding!
What better way to get a glow on the go?
